About

I am a first-year Ph.D. student in the Department of Agricultural Economics at Kansas State University, where I serve as a Teaching Assistant for an undergraduate Principles of Agricultural Economics course and as a Research Assistant under Dr. Nathan Hendricks.
My research focuses on the political economy of agricultural production and distribution. I use statistical methods and economic models to assess how agricultural policy influences commodity markets, market relationships, land use, and international trade. My work has been published in academic journals and extension outlets. I write a monthly Substack (@deweyjrobertson) to make my research more accessible to non-economist audiences.
This website provides access to my CV, publications, working papers, and teaching resources. I’m always happy to connect with others interested in agricultural policy, commodity markets, or potential research collaborations. I plan to enter the job market in 2028.
Education
  • Ph.D., Agricultural Economics, Kansas State University [Expected May 2029]
  • M.Sc., Agricultural Economics, Purdue University [2025]
  • B.Sc. Applied Economics, Utah State University [2023]
